Post Fire Fight, realizing John hasn’t come home, Bailey is terrified. Slight AU, John was hurt worse by Marcus, I have trouble believing Bailey wasn’t there when John was found given how up and about she was when he wasn’t around. I also have trouble believing that as much as Marcus enjoyed torturing his victims, he didn’t do a little more damage to John.

Ya know, I can imagine Gibbs being shot on one of his MULTIPLE coffee runs. I mean, the team can't cover his six because it's almost always somewhere else. Someone that wants to off him just has to wait for him to trot out to get his latest cup-a-joe. Could get him between the getting the coffee and getting back to the yard, wouldn't even have to take out any innocent bystanders. Sorry that the bombing still happened because of those incompetent fools though. Seems to always be the innocents that pay the highest prices for other people's hubris. - AlexiCyn
