“Sure, you can go introduce yourself,” Riki said. “Sunoo’s very nice.”
“And pretty,” Jake sighed dreamily. “Did you notice that his eyes are brown?”
“No, I haven’t,” Riki said drily. “What are you waiting for?”
“Aren’t you coming with?” Jake looked at him in alarm. “I can’t go by myself! I’ll be too awkward!”
Riki cursed Jay and Sunghoon. Where were those two anyway and why was he stuck babysitting?
Jake crawled to his knees and clasped his hands together, “Please, please, please! I promise I won’t ask for anything ever again, Riki hyung!”
Damn. He was still getting used to hearing that.

After being transported to Middle Earth Harry stumbles across an Orc. Not that he knows what this new creature is.

The action has the dwarf tense, but the words that fall from his mouth next only has Harry nod solemnly.
"He has no idea we're coming."
"I truly doubt he—" Harry freezes as the words catch up to him. "Did you say 'we?'"
It is the dwarf's turn to nod solemnly. "My company has likely arrived by now."
In which: Harry has a horrible, awful, no good, very bad bleeding heart. Bilbo is no better. And it's much easier to blame all problems on Gandalf.

The Elflings they have discovered are the most curious of beings.
They act as if they are responsible for far more than their small bodies can handle, they speak as if they are fully grown, and they have unusual habits that the Elves can't seem to break.
If that was all, they would not be concerned.
However, after at first seeming to enjoy each other's company, the Elflings are now at each others' throats, and the Elves have no idea what to do!
