Annabeth peered through the peep-hole and found a man in a black suit and dark sunglasses waiting outside. She blinked in surprise before opening the door, making sure her sword arm was hidden behind it. There was still a chance this could be a monster, but she didn’t want to take the risk of scaring a mortal with whatever the Mist made them see, especially a mortal who looked like a government official.
“Good morning, Miss,” the man smiled politely, stretching out his hand. “I am Phil Coulson, an agent of SHIELD. Is this the residence of Perseus Jackson?”

But that didn't mean she didn't love them.
She loved all of them, so, SO much, that she would do anything just to spend another few seconds by their side.

Summary
Ever since Melinoë was exposed to the world, she has always had good favor with the Gods. And why shouldn’t she? They are her family. They represent and control everything. Why would anyone want to get on their bad side? They only have to do as their are told and they will remain in the good graces of the gods. And yet she has met so many who hold so much contempt for them. She cannot possibly understand why they must feel this way. The Gods are there to protect mortals.
Contains spoilers for the characters of Arachne, Scylla, Dora, Heracles and Prometheus. But if you are knowledgeable on Greek mythology then you probably already know how most of the stories go.
