Summary
Like when someone doesn’t eat anything of nutritional value for a while, so, in turn, the muscles gets lazy and sluggish, weak. Or, when one doesn’t talk in a while, then their voice gets all raspy. Or, when in isolation, the mind starts to waver.
Sonic bites at his lip when he gets lost in thought because okay, so, yes, all those things are actively happening to him. Like, literally right now they’re in motion. But, it’s fine, because he’s not normal which means he can totally last longer, and it’s not like he’ll be here long enough for any of that to take effect, anyways. So, it’s cool. He’s cool.

Sonic gets injured after another run in with eggman and hides it from his friends. Unfortunately, he isn’t very good at first aid and doesn’t realize that his “small scratch” has gotten infected.
Shadow is pissed when Sonic shows him up for a race they had agreed to have a week ago, and dashes over to his house to give him a piece of his mind.
He doesn’t like what he finds.
