“Adios, muchachos!” Earth hollered over his shoulder as he went back to his orbit. [Bye guys!]
Mercury watched as the blue planet became smaller and smaller, still distantly hearing him speaking to his moon in that weird language. He sighed, crossing his arms. “Well, that’s gonna get old fast.”
Mars hummed, appearing by his shoulder. “Nah, he’ll probably get bored in the next day or so. This won’t last long.”

That little green and blue planet had gone through so much suffering in all his long existence that it was hard for him not to feel used to it.
From the hardships that their lives suffered to the same exhausting feeling of seeing them disappear again and again. But now he had simply surpassed him.
Because he didn't want to accept it, he didn't want to realize the truth. From the fact that a tiny part of his beautiful creation was the only one that had caused him the most damage of all.
That of seeing them die.
