Kinta's quirk was troublesome.
Like his mother, his quirk was an emitter type. He could liberate a chemical compound from his body in the form of gas and affect the people around him. Mustard gas, a very potent but dangerous chemical that could provoke blisters, temporary blindness and damage the lungs. It seemed that his father's quirk, one that would allow him to come up with chemical formulas in the spot, had doomed him to be a walking bomb. Not even Kinta was immune to his quirk, visiting the hospital several times along his first decade of life due to chemical burns caused when accidentally hurt himself with his own quirk.
He had to go into quirk suppressants since very young, becoming practically quirkless for several years. He could blame his mother, but no one expected that an intelligence quirk would morph into this way. At most he should have either become a brilliant researcher or another walking sleep gas machine, the different quirk types very rarely combined this way. A very dangerous quirk, practically a rogue chemical weapon, a birth defect.
He was an embarrassment.
