Summary
Rio raised her chin, her face relaxing in disinterest. “So why are you only pinching me now?”
“I needed an eye witness actually seeing you in action.” She titled her head, her gaze curious roaming over Rio’s body. “I’ll give it to you, your sleight of hand isn’t half bad.” Her free hand came to Rio’s thigh, slowly trailing upwards. “And you can’t necessarily swap cards without doing a little counting too, right? That takes some skill, hon.”
Rio’s tongue felt heavy, the warmth of this woman’s touch was spreading across her skin like delicious pin pricks. “I don’t know what you mean,” Rio sweetly lied.
“Mmmh,” she hummed, her fingertips skating underneath the hem of Rio’s skirt. There was a rough tug followed by the sharp snap of her garter. The owner held up the cards in show. “You’re a terrible liar for your line of work, baby.”

"I think you are full of yours-"
"And I think," Rhaenyra interrupted, now practically towering over her. Her breath was hot and sweet on Alicent’s face. "You can't stop yourself from liking it."
Alicent scoffed, but she felt her heart drop in real time. She had flown too close to the sun.
"Liking what? An entitled, twenty something brat who can't handle a rejection?"
"Rejection?" Rhaenyra's eyebrows rose, something dangerous glowing in her eyes. An opportunity. "Is that what you call it now?"
