    Damian tries to maintain the bit of dignity he has left. He’s not—he’s not embarrassed, but having his secret—so well kept, and broken after so many years—aired in such a way makes his breathing quicken and become uneven. “What do you think they are, Drake?”

    "This is Damian" Talia says as she puts a hand on his shoulder. "After his allience with Bane, my father no longer considered Damian's lineage suitable for the Demon's Heir, casted him out of his family, removing him from under my protection as well."

    She doesn't say more, but Tim's not stupid and he can read between the lines and the kid's, Damian's state speaks for itself. Tim is not overly familiar with the ways of the League, but he can imagine many disgruntled assasins would like to take their grudges against Ra's out on a kid who's no longer under the Demon's Head protection.

    Or: Talia decides Damian can't stay with the League after the events of Legacy and Tim just happens to be in Paris at the right time to gain a little bother

    Dickie is making great progress since the Bats rescued him from the Court, and his big brothers decide it's time for him to experience sugar.

     

    Jason falls onto the couch beside Dickie, smiling so big and excited. “Since you’ve been doing such a good job with eating lately, Alfred said you can have a treat!”
    Dickie vaguely knows what treats are, but he isn’t sure he has ever had one. He especially isn’t sure what giant earplugs have to do with treats. Maybe the treat is loud?
    Plastic crackles as Jason rips open the bag. “These are called circus peanuts.”
