“Oh, Feyre.” His voice was low, dangerous. Intimate. “I’m anything but safe. For you.”
    How dare he!
“You don’t know what I want.” Her chin lifted. “Or what’s good for me.”
“Don’t I?” He said quietly. “I see you. I see all the pieces you think you’re hiding.”
She stepped back, blanching. “What—what do you mean?”
“You think I haven’t noticed?” Rhys sounded pained. “How you catalog every exit? The way you hold your breath when people get too close?” Another step. “I see the weight, the secrets carving you hollow." His face darkened. "I don’t need to know what they are, but don’t stand there claiming you want complications when you’re drowning in battles you won’t let anyone help fight.”
She felt stripped bare, exposed, yet blind with defiance.“You think Tarquin would be simpler?” Bitter laughter spilled out. “You think anyone would be simple right now?” He was close now—his heat and cologne making her dizzy. She couldn't believe how deeply he’d seen her. “I don’t need saving, Rhys.” Feyre met his gaze unflinchingly. “And I don’t want safe.”
His eyes flared. “Then tell me, Feyre—what do you want?” A pause. Vulnerability flickered. “And why won’t you reach for it?”

    Summary

A closed-circle ACOTAR murder mystery inspired by Death on the Nile and Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie: elegant, indulgent, flirtatious, and just unhinged enough to be dangerous.

Feyre and Rhysand receive an unexpected invitation from the Spring Court: seven days of luxury, illusion, and civility—and a carefully planned murder mystery meant to foster peacetime alliances. One victim. One murderer. A closed circle of suspects.
It should be tasteful. It should be restrained. It is neither. Rhysand is absolutely not going to behave. Neither is Tamlin. The Inner Circle makes no promises. As wine flows and illusions blur truth and performance, the game becomes an excuse—for old rivalries to resurface, alliances to sharpen into something competitive and flirtatious, and people who should know better to push every boundary they’re given.

    Summary

    “You’re really sick, Rhys.”
Rhys blinked up at Feyre. “Will you stay?”
    “Me?”
    “Mm.”
“What can I do?” She had no skills at healing, and she had never cared for anyone before, not like this. She wasn’t even doing a very good job of looking after herself these days, if she was being honest.
    “Read to me?” he asked.
    __

When Rhys collapses during a reading lesson while Feyre is visiting the Night Court, Feyre finds herself looking after him.
