Mercy's lackey flipped the cover open, and just as Lena blurted out a sharp "Don't," he pushed the button.
"You idiot," Lena choked out. "That's my signal watch."
"Signal watch?" said the Child of Liberty.
"Signal watch?" said Mercy. "Signal watch! You idiot," She rounded on the others. "We need to leave, now. Get Luthor and-"
Somewhere in the distance, there was a crash of shattering concrete and a series of harsh bursts of automatic gunfire. Mercy tensed, taking a step from the door as the sounds grew closer. Cracking concrete. Rending metal. Screaming.
"You have no idea what you've done," Lena choked out.
"What do you mean?"
"The Kryptonite in your chest," said Lena. "It's red."***

“No—don’t—” she tried as she pushed away from him, turning to throw her hands up, she didn’t want to hear it, didn’t want to think this through because she knew where it would go. Where it always fucking went.
“Gun to your head,” he said again, firmer this time. “You have to choose three things to save. Just three.”
JJ’s mouth opened, but no words came.
“You’re saving our boys,” Will said, because that one was obvious, of course it was, “You’re saving your team. And you’re saving Spencer Reid.”
JJ blinked. “Will—”
“I know it. Hell, the world knows it, you and Spencer are the only two that don’t.”Or, After Will's passing, JJ has to come to terms with what her life will look like without him. If only the universe and a night of alcohol hadn't thrown a wrench in it.

Kara Zor-El was sent to Earth to protect her baby cousin. She landed, but never found him. Instead the name of a stranger was indelibly written in her arm since her landing. She never paid much attention to that name; survival was much more important to accomplish, with no one to take care of her anymore.
Lena’s life was forever changed when her soulmate mark made her appearance at the age of twelve, when not only one name showed up, but two. It didn’t get any better when more kept appearing and appearing. Exceedingly alarming, she was sure one of the names wasn’t even human.
