Summary
When Gurathin sneaks away for a trip to the Corporation Rim that brings him right to the company's doorstep, Murderbot and ART don't hesitate to rush after him. Someone has to drag the idiot back home, after all. In the process Murderbot learns more about Gurathin's past than it ever cared to know—a past that quickly catches up with them, and puts them all in even more danger than anticipated.
Worst of all, Murderbot might find itself in the position where it has to admit that maybe it does like Gurathin. At least a little bit. Not in a weird way.

We had been at the base of the collapsed habitat section for approximately three minutes. Approximately, because one of the large, heavy bits of plasteel that had been raining down on us had knocked my system offline for the first minute or so.
I was pinned beneath a large structural support, which was infuriatingly cliche, and had happened no less than three times in Strife in the Galaxy.
Performance reliability at 42%.
Mainly because I couldn’t stand up.
Or, Murderbot and Gurathin trapped in a collapsed building.
