Summary
After a terrible accident, Regina wakes up in a barn with no memories of her past. She must depend on Emma Swan, the kind-hearted woman whose barn she was sleeping in, to help her rediscover who she was. But as she struggles to unlock even a piece of who she is, she realizes that Emma may know more than what she’s letting on.
Emma Swan, more commonly known as Emma White, the heir to the Kingdom of Wysh, was forced into a marriage she didn’t want in order to save her kingdom. Now, as she helps her wife remember who she is, she reflects on the path that they took which got them to where they were now. Will they ever be to where they were before?

They talk for hours, spending the rest of the night in the same position, seated opposite other on the floor.
Or, rather, Henry talks. Regina mostly listens, only occasionally interjecting to ask him a question which invariably eggs him on, teases out some part of his story that he hadn't thought to vocalise. And it's nice, it's great to have someone who just listens like this, but—
“What about you? Don't you have any stories?”
“I'm a dream person, Henry. You haven't forgotten, have you?” Regina reminds him, and he wonders whether dream people are meant to be snarky. He likes it, though.

Henry blinks at them. “Mom. Mom...Mom,” he says, eyes flickering from Emma to Regina to his future mothers, who are still holding hands. “Mom. Something you want to tell me?”
“They’re from the future,” Regina says.
“They’re married,” Emma says. “To each other.” She’s still standing in the middle of the room, utterly discombobulated.
Henry rolls his eyes. “Duh. Can I go get my Playstation?”
