Summary
Johnny’s hand rakes through his hair like he can’t find words fast enough. “What the fuck are you doing here?”
You blink. “Excuse me?”
“You shouldn’t be here. You—” He gestures to the door, to the base, to you. “You said you wouldn’t. You made me a promise.”
You scoff. “Ten years ago.”
“I don’t care if it was twenty.” His voice is rising now. His finger is pointing at you accusingly. “You promised me you’d stay out of this shite. Get a job. A house. A dog—fuckin’ something normal. Safe. Something good.”
-
You and Johnny grew up like gravity. Pulled together, always just close enough to hurt. Everyone saw what you two never said aloud. He left for the military and shattered your heart on the way out. Ten years later, you’re standing in the same room, staring at the same eyes you swore you’d never see again. And still, he’s the first person your heart recognises before your mind does.

Summary
When Simon returns home from deployment, the blaring TV next door is gone; replaced by the scent of warm bread and soft humming through the walls. You’ve just moved in: a bright, charming baker chasing your dream with a new shop down the street. He’s guarded and quiet. You’re sunshine and sugar. What begins with cinnamon rolls at the door slowly turns into late-night chats, quiet confessions, and something neither of you expected: comfort, healing… and the kind of slow-burning love that sneaks up on you.
I DON’T OWN SHIT!

Summary
"This ISN'T a laughing matter, you know," the young woman gritted. "YOU broke into the queen's sleeping quarters. And when this kingdom's safety is hanging in the balance, I promise you, you do NOT want to find out what I would be willing to do, to COUNTER that threat."
Jack Frost blushed, staring down at his handcuffed wrists.
"Sorry," he choked.
"Alright. Thank you," she sighed, sitting back in the chair and reaching for the tablet and parchment on the table. "Then we're going. To try this. Again."
Looking back through the bars of the icy jail cell, the girl suspiciously eyed the Youngest Guardian as he stood before her, glancing up and down his gangly frame as she considered her next question. Picking up her quill to dip it in the inkwell and then place it onto the parchment once again, she leaned forward an inch, gazing with intensity into his eyes.
"Okay, young man," she started quietly. "Who sent you?"
"Santa Claus."
"REALLY?!"
