Summary
It's September 2021. Crowley is living with Aziraphale at the bookshop, and the angel and the demon are now lovers trying to avoid the the scrutiny of Heaven and Hell. After Crowley has an uncomfortable encounter in London, they decide to get out of the city for a while, and Aziraphale books a holiday cottage in Devon. It's wonderful: they holiday just like humans. Perhaps, wonders Crowley, they could live like this forever?
But then comes the Autumn Equinox, and the Demon has demons of his own to wrestle with...This fic is an extract from my longer piece ' A Precious Peaceful Fragile Existence' but Hey - today is the Equinox, so I thought I'd put it up!!

‘Before God, you need this, don’t you?’ He stroked the demon’s back, fingers tracing the runnels of sweat that streamed off him.
‘Leave God out of it!’
‘If you will. But –‘ The human turned, so that they were face to face, and he could look into the demon’s eyes. ‘I would suppose an Immortal such as you, to have many lovers, now and through the ages, yet, my demon, you fuck as if I were all you had. You fuck like a starving man!’It was not meant to be like this. The demon Crowley had been sent to London on what looked like the easiest job in centuries. Seek out a poet already on the primrose path to Hell and, as Beelzebub put it, ‘Make sure of the bastard! If there’s any sin he hasn’t done yet, make sure he does it. I’m relying on you, Crowley, you’re our best Tempter, even if you are an arrogant shit.’
LONDON 1592.
Crowley is sent to tempt a famous poet. But what happens if the love-starved, touch-starved Tempter becomes the tempted? And what about the Angel? Set mostly in the rackety world of the Elizabethan playhouses and taverns, with input from Hell, and an angel, this is, ultimately, a sort of love story. Hope you like! -

Summary
The horse was grey and gaunt, with a sparse mane and a slight dip in his back where the saddle was meant to sit. Crowley sighed as he took temporary ownership of him from the livery stable by the Blackfriars. The horse, on the other hand, appeared to adore Crowley at first sight, whinnying happily when the demon climbed aboard, and nuzzling his hand when they made their first stop and Crowley fed him an apple. It occurred to him that whoever had named the beast had done it either as a malign attempt at irony, or in supreme ignorance of Greek classical literature.
His name was Pegasus...It's 1592 and Crowley is due onstage at the Rose Theatre to appear in Marlowe's Doctor Faustus - as a demon. Trouble is, he's lingered too long in Stratford...

Summary
'Crowley wakes up in July 2020 to find the pandemic isn't over, and he's living in his car. With the threat of another Lockdown looming, can he find a safe place to go for the winter, and will Aziraphale be angelic enough to take him in? And what then?
This Fic tales place between July 2020 and the start of Season 2. It's my attempt to imagine, from Crowley's POV, the 'precious peaceful fragile existence' he carved out for himself post Season 1 and Season 2. It will help if you have watched the GO Lockdown video, released in May 2020, and this Fic also ties in loosely with my first fic 1941.
I'm still a novice at this: don't know if 'I've got the tagging right. But Note: it is set in the time of the Covid pandemic, and there are references to it. If this may trigger traumatic memories for you, take care of yourself, and maybe give this one a miss?

Summary
The first time seeing Crowley in four years, after becoming the Supreme Archangel of Heaven, Aziraphale is forced to witness the Metatron first torture, then triumphantly turn Crowley over to Satan, who turns up in-person to take possession of his wayward tempter. Satan has permanent plans for Crowley to make him forever Hell's. Those plans include payment for his betrayal of Hell, with Satan himself in his blackstone room - the space where Crowley has been only twice before, yet where his deepest nightmares, and longest screams reside.
Meanwhile, Aziraphale discovers an ever increasing pit of corruption in Heaven where nothing is as it seems - Archangels are missing that no one remembers even exist, and Heaven itself has been changed without anyone seeming to notice. All to cement the Metatron's control and achieve his vision. The Metatron didn't count on Crowley upending Hell in the process of surviving, or Aziraphale Clue-ing out everything he wasn't supposed to, while trying to get his demon back..... Oh well.... Too bad for him…

But it could never be that easy. For millennia, Crowley’s coping mechanism has been as ingenious as it is foolish: He keeps the memories of the worst horrors of his life since the flood in a box that’s not a box, stowed safely in a place that’s not a place, away from his own conscious mind.
Be a pity if something were to cause that box to open, right as things are getting good for our ineffable husbands…wouldn’t it?
Takes place after S1 and uses S2 characters (Nina + Maggie), with many-a-chapter looking back on the kind of memories that even a demon hides from.
