Hogwart's potions master Viktor could never have expected this. How was he supposed to know that Jayce Talis, genius, golden boy extraordinaire, and fellow professor would be foolish enough to eat the love potion-filled chocolates he'd confiscated from a student? But he can fix this. All he has to do is slip Jayce the antidote without him knowing and forget about the love-sick puppy looks he's been giving him all day. It should be fine. Right?

Jayce groaned. "Vi, he fucking hates me."
"Yeah, like I said. Isn't that your type?" Vi deadpanned. "Case in point - Mel Medarda."
"Not helping, Vi. You're from Zaun, can't you, I dunno...help me? So I don't say anything else to piss him off?"
"Yeah, here's some advice. Talk to the guy."

When Viktor comes to study at Piltover Academy of Excellence, he is of course assigned to Jayce's dorm. This causes Jayce quite the crisis. So, naturally, he's a disaster about it. His friends are no help.
