Once he was sure the others weren’t listening— or, at the very least, were pretending not to listen, Jayce spoke in a hushed tone. “He’s offering us access to the resources we need to get back home, and all we have to do is teach a couple of kids. This is the easiest possible way out.”

The first time he knew Viktor was a professor at the arts and literacy university was when he was in 8th grade at a math test, which should’ve been a walk in the park for him but he was so distracted.
His teacher left the classroom for a ‘colleague’ of his to monitor during this midterm. Jayce couldn’t stop looking at this ‘colleague’ of his teacher, a middle aged man with a cane and a slight limp unmistakable. His long wavy salt and pepper hair framing his face like a perfect rare portrait of a famous artist, his physique lithe and lean with this very put-together espresso brown suit his waist is a nice contrast from his sharp shoulders, but what knocked the breath out of his lungs was the two moles on Viktors face, one under his eye the other above his lips.
Jayce knew this man, he actually dreamed of him multiple times. He dreamt of meeting him and he is finally in his presence. He was like the night's silver moonshine, clear and bright not hiding behind any clouds, his golden eyes were so bright and unmistakable. His sweet scent is like caramel, very obvious, clear, and confident

Powder and Mylo look up at Ekko hesistantly, before their gazes fall on Viktor. Tomato-red Viktor, who is trying to conceal his blush by resting his forehead on his hand. A futile attempt, considering he's also smiling way too fondly. Mylo's jaw falls. There is a grin spreading across Podwer's face, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
"No way." Mylo says, barely audible.

She insists on bringing the possibly radioactive ancient mages back to her home in the Freljord. Because there's something pulling Elora towards Mel, who speaks as if they already know each other. It's probably the same thing that pushes Jayce towards a professor called Viktor.
