It's been years, decades. A lifetime ago, honestly. He doesn't even know how the fuck he remembers it in the first place, because if he was two or three at the time he was being generous. But somehow the incident is seared into his brain, has been since it happened. It's been one of his most common dreams, let alone nightmares.
