Cole wasn't sure how to feel about Genji bringing Hanzo to Overwatch, not until he actually met Hanzo. If Genji was willing to forgive his gorgeous brother than obviously, Cole needed to make sure Hanzo felt welcome. It was completely altruistic, no ulterior motives at all.

It's still a surprise to people when confirming that it was Ashe who started this little get together they have going on.
"I hadn't seen him in years," Ashe will shrug. "I wanted to see how he was doing." It will go unmentioned that they hadn't been close as children. That their bond only existed in the recognition as adopted sons, with only an inkling of sharing similar roots. It's not something people care to ask.
Yuri agreeing to it though seems to be of more interest. "Why, it would have been rude to have refused," a flutter of lashes, and Yuri will smile ever so sharply, "It's always nice to catch up with old friends." His many rejections do, in fact, get brought up, but always dismissed in a similar notion. Ashe was someone that he was interested to talk to, while most others were not, along with some more complicated details they had no business knowing.
It's not like they could have predicted how often these would occur, anyway. It was just an invitation for tea.
