The internet quickly did its magic, and hockey fans figured the clip was two years old, most likely taken the same day as the infamous video of a few Montreal Metros players celebrating Rozanov's knee injury, which left him unable to play in the playoffs. The gross, homophobic language used in the video in relation to both Rozanov and Hollander, who got married in 2021, caused a lot of speculation about the true reasons behind Hollander's departure from his team.
