Summary
The bodies appear in churches, placed before the light arrives.
Will Graham stands in the cold nave and feels, in the bones of a crime scene, something he has no clinical language for. Not hatred. Devotion, vast, deliberate, ancient. He does not know yet why it feels familiar.
In Baltimore, a man says yes to a telephone call before the question is finished. He does not, as a rule, say yes before he decides to.
Above them both, something older than the city watches and waits. It has been waiting thirty-seven years. It wants to know whether a flame kept burning in the dark long enough still knows, when the oxygen arrives, how to rise.- Language:

Summary
The rain stops, but Mulder doesn’t. He shows up at Scully's door like he always does, only this time, he’s not running from a case, or the dark, or himself. He’s coming home.

Summary
Dr. Dana Scully’s morning routine is sacred: same route, same playlist, same tall black coffee with two sugars. The only disruption? The conspiracy-loving, silver-tongued barista who insists on drawing tiny aliens on her cup and asking if she believes in soulmates.
Fox Mulder owns The Smoking Bean, a café themed after “the unknown”, conspiracy posters, alien latte art, cryptid cookie shapes. It’s half ridiculous, half charming, and he seems to be aware of it. Scully keeps telling herself she only goes because it’s on her way to work… not because she likes the way he says her name like a secret.
One evening, she stops by after a brutal shift. He’s closing up, playing soft music, shirt sleeves rolled up, wiping down counters. They end up talking, about exhaustion, faith, and the strange comfort of small rituals. A storm hits. He locks the doors early, brews one last cup for her, and somewhere between laughter and confessions, the tension that’s been simmering for weeks finally breaks.

Summary
“Agent Graham looks young, doesn’t he?” Jack cut in, half-apologetic. “Dr. Lecter, Will is just barely out of the Academy. I had him in my class for a semester before we brought him into the BAU. Brightest mind I’ve seen in years. Please forgive his bite.”
“Forgiveness is hardly necessary,” Dr. Lecter said. His eyes lingered on Will, something dark and roiling in them that betrayed his faint, polite smile. “I had a far worse bite myself at your age, Will.”
Will wanted to roll his eyes, but Jack would give him an earful later, maybe, about how that wasn’t how you behaved in front of a man like Hannibal Lecter. He let the silence hang instead, and stared at his knees, an oddly flushed feeling creeping up the back of his neck, unbidden.
Will Graham, fresh out of the FBI Academy, is hand-picked by Jack Crawford to work on the Minnesota Shrike case. The well-established Dr. Hannibal Lecter is there to make sure he isn't lead astray.

Summary
This is a rewrite of the first season of Hannibal exploring how the story could have unfolded if Hannibal was a non-toxic character capable of forming genuine bonds with other people even with his psychopathy. This is what the story could have been without Hannibal being toxic, manipulative, and abusive towards Will while still keeping the core traits of his character the same (he's still a psychopath, he's still a serial killer, he's still a cannibal).
