  Summary

  Stede Bonnet is most emphatically done with being a coward. Furthermore, he doesn’t want to return to Ed while still carrying unresolved questions about himself. That’s what made him run away in the first place!

  So, while he is trying to get back to Ed, Stede sets a terrifying side mission for himself. It's a good thing he finds the right place—and people—to help him face it constructively.
