“You really don’t want to start a debate about what’s rude with me,” Elphaba points out before adding, “I didn’t say you look bad.”

When a spell gone wrong during a teaching demonstration sends Elphaba crashing into a wall of swirling magic, she wakes up in the infirmary at Shiz with poor vision and an aching head. All she sees is a beautiful woman in a pristine uniform with golden hair glowing in the sunlight. Convinced she is an attractive nurse, Elphaba begins awkwardly flirting. Unfortunately for her dignity, the nurse is actually her wife, Galinda, who has been pacing the room in worry for hours. Flustered affection and gentle tenderness follow as Elphaba realizes she has been openly admiring the love of her life.
