The understatement of the century: Adam didn't want to be alone.
More accurately, he didn't want to be without Lawrence.

Summary
Stanley has gone through the Skip Button ending once, and once was far too much.
Fortunately, the game glitched at the last moment, and the Narrator is none the wiser.
Unfortunately, everything beyond the New Content door is still out there.Stanley has to do everything in his power (which isn't much) to keep both of them away from the Memory Zone so they never have to see that button again. No matter what.

"How'd the stitches come out, anyway?" Red asked, stalling as much as he could.
"I don't know, I was just pulling on them, and--"
"Why were you doing that?"
"I don't know, all right? Now are you going to help me, or just stand there?"

[Or: Luckily, one of them is made of thread.]

"I'm cold, and you're sad. This at least solves one of those problems. So let's just sit here and not say a single word about it, shall we?"
None of them know how to talk about their situation, but at least they're all suffering together.

Summary
Ashlyn Halperin never claimed to be psychic. Empathetic? Sure. Stylish? Always. But ever since that awful day at the amusement park, she can feel things she shouldn’t—like her body is telling her when someone’s about to die. Now she and Ashley are trying to stop the universe’s death list armed with nothing but intuition, lip gloss, and a really bad sense of timing.
AKA: What if Ashlyn was the visionary, instead of Wendy?

Summary
The client hadn’t really requested anything at all; their emails had been almost overly polite, if not jarringly formal, and had selected only the most vanilla options on the questionnaire she provided. Certainly a far cry from the standard practices of her usual clientele, but this one had paid upfront and picked this expensive hotel, and Mira’s fees are dear enough on their own that she had been coloured intrigued.
Mira takes a left down the hallway after leaving the elevator and finds herself at the door to the room. She doesn’t steel herself—doesn’t need to. She can handle anything. Has handled most things. Mira swipes the keycard and lets herself in.
The person sitting on the bed is probably the last thing she expects.
In which Mira is a professional, Rumi is socially inept, and Zoey is also there. Let's hope nobody catches feelings.

Summary
The thing about Deep 13 is that it’s cold. Very cold. In the way only something below ground made from rocks and steel can be. The kind of cold that’s sharp and pierces you right down to your bones.
Clayton, who hated the cold and always had, who hated how his hands continuously felt like they were made of ice, lay in bed unable to find warmth under the thick stack of covers over him. He knew what, or more accurately, who, he needed.

Actually, Frankenbots were the two robots who brought Mike Nelson back from the dead, not the undead Mike Nelson himself.
