This, too, is similar to the old days, he thinks. Allan tries to find an easy way to get jobs done– quick, simple solutions that should work. But Pim is… determined, for lack of a better term. He's organized but willing to get his hands dirty; he's positive but still not a stranger to the harsh realities of life. Pim likes to check his options and take them all when he has to.
So Allan is going to the shelters to deal with dandruff-covered animals, excessively loud barking, and smelly buildings for… the client (certainly not for Pim).
Stupid coffee (like heartburn in his stomach).

He had nothing. No family, no job, no purpose, and no sense of direction.
So, he just picked one and drove it.He spent his days traveling the Americas. He’d pop into a bar and on occasion strike a chat and sometimes he’d wake up the next morning with a shiner on his eye and a splitting head and sometimes he’d wake up the next morning in a bed that wasn’t his and a splitting head. Sometimes he’d stay a good few days. Sometimes someone would ask him to stay for good.
He never did.So, what happens when the long lost love of his life asks him to?

“Hey, it's warm now.” Scout tugged on Sniper's finger, who was mindlessly scratching at his face in the mirror with his other hand. He led them into the shower-bath, closing the curtain behind them both.
Sniper hissed a little as the scalding water splashed onto his back and legs for a split second. Hunching behind his lover’s shoulder, he pressed his face into the damp skin and asked the boy to turn the temperature down.
