“Heeelllo hello hello, it's your friendly neighborhood Deadpool, or as I like to be called in this universe, Blitzøpool! Only one of the 'O's is silent, I'll give ya a hint, it's not the one in the bedroom, ha!”
"Who are you talking to?"
"It's a fourth wall thing,” Blitzø responded, “you wouldn't understand, princess."

Summary
He shouldn’t care.
Blitzø kept telling himself that, over and over, as he cleaned the blood off the white feathers of Stolas’s face plate.
The excuses about knowing better and having to be more careful with his carnivorous plants stopped. Blitzø didn’t want to care about it, and maybe if he told himself that enough, he’d believe it.
(One night early on, Blitzø gets all the evidence he never needed about how easily Stolas can get hurt. He decides to do something about it.)

Summary
If there’s something Val learned pretty early when he first met Vox, it was that dumber was smarter.
It’s a pretty simple formula, really. But effective. The more airheaded he comes across, the more Vox opens up. But then, Val notices a pattern.
Vox’s plans always work. Never in their -is it seven years now?- partnership has Vox ever dragged Val’s hesitant ass into a battle they didn’t win.
OR
5 times Val went along with Vox’s schemes without question, and the 1 time he finally questioned it (but stayed anyway)
