Annabeth groans, pushing herself up with a wince. She can hear Percy yelling as he furiously fends off the hellhound, but her head is throbbing and she can’t get the words to make sense. The pain unfurling in her stomach is sharp and strangely…wet?
Her eyes widen. No. It can’t be, not now. Please, not now.
But when she goes to stand and her insides twist and her mouth tastes like bile and something else mortifying happens in lower half, cool dread washes over her. There’s no denying it.
She just started her period.

Summary
For a human, Stiles has never been as scared of the unknown as he should be. Always running towards danger, interested in things most people would tend to avoid. His curiosity and thirst for knowledge have often landed him in perilous situations. It’s no wonder he ended up to his ears deep into the supernatural business.
And that’s fine. You have to have at least a few screws loose to survive the madness that are the creatures that go bump in the night. But even for a boy running with wolves, Stiles is strange.

“Hotch?” Morgan’s voice cracks over his shoulder.
With hands he’ll forever deny are shaking, Hotch reaches up and presses two fingers to Spencer’s carotid, even though he can feel him breathing. It’s faster than he would like, but it’s there, and it’s strong. “He’s okay, just unconscious,” he assures his other agent, whose hands hover over Spencer’s back like he’s afraid to touch him.
Gideon steps closer, reaching for one of Spencer’s arms. “Here, I’ll take—”
Hotch doesn’t let him finish the sentence, crouching down so he can hook one arm under Spencer’s knees, careful to keep the other supporting his back, then lifts him slowly. Sleeping people are heavy, and his ageing knees complain as he returns to a standing position, but he doesn’t blink.
Or: After being rescued from Hankel, Reid makes the perfectly reasonable decision to take a quick nap. So what if it's a little sudden and in the arms of his boss?
