Summary

But when he meets Armin Arlert, a waiter working at a bar, everything changes. A bad first impression, thanks to a crude comment from his buddy Reiner, leaves Armin thinking Jean’s just another jerk. Sasuke is objectively aware of the fact that coming back to Konoha for Naruto's birthday to surprise him is probably a bad idea. What he doesn't expect is for the idiot to think he's just a hallucination, though.

"You're not really here," Naruto repeats, reaching out. He touches Sasuke's arm, and his eyebrows knit together.
Sasuke lets him, curious to see how far he'll go.
"You're warm," Naruto says, with a hint of surprise in his tone. "Huh. Usually my imagination makes you cold."
Sasuke almost wants to laugh. Almost.
"Not a hallucination," he repeats.
"Yeah, sure."
