    Summary

Midoriya Izuku believed himself to be nothing worth worrying about, and society at large would likely tell him he was right.

In a world where a vast majority of the population bore incredible superpowers, Izuku was one of the very unlucky few to be born without any superhuman qualities. By all means, in a might-makes-right world like 2415 Japan, the green-haired boy was a blur in the background, a mere statistic; or, in his classmates' eyes, the gum underneath their shoes.

The boy's former best friend viewed him as something less than human, nothing more than a freak obsessed with his note-taking for a dream that was dead in the water.

His own mother saw him as a boy made of glass, constantly in need of repairs. Something to be put on a shelf, where it will no doubt collect dust, but where it will be safe.

But the truth is, Izuku isn't any of these things. And, contrary to what he believes, he is worth worrying about, because Midoriya Izuku is a shell; a cocoon, a husk, a second skin for something far more dangerous than anyone realizes.

    His quirk.

    Summary

Izuku Midoriya learns the truth about his Quirk the hard way—by dying.

At six years old, he throws himself between Katsuki and a quirked pit bull, only to be torn apart in seconds. But death isn’t the end. He revives—stronger, older, and forced to fight again. By the time the dust settles, he’s killed the beast, but at a cost: three deaths, three resurrections, and six years stolen from his life.

Now trapped in a cycle of sacrifice, Izuku faces a cruel reality. Every time he dies, he comes back… but his body ages with each return. If he keeps pushing himself to save others, he won’t just die a hero—he’ll wither away into nothing.

But stopping isn’t an option. Not when Katsuki is still watching. Not when the dream of being a hero is within reach.

How many times can a hero die before there’s nothing left to save?

    Summary

Izuku knew the rules well. Knew why they were so important. Never once did he argue them, even if the way his mother always flinched from him hurt so bad, or if the inability to ever leave the house had him struggling with… well, everything. No. Izuku didn’t argue, because the rules were fair. Honestly, the fact that he wasn’t abandoned is insanely lucky. He can deal with his mother hating the sight of him so long as she leaves him some food and a roof over his head. He can deal with it even when the food doesn’t show up for a while. He can deal with it because he deserves this. Izuku is, after all, a villain.

What else could you call someone whose quirk forces anyone who sees Izuku’s eyes to instead see Izuku as their greatest fear?
