“Can I be your pediatrician?” The woman with dark, almost bluish-black hair and bangs smiled at his daughter and handed her a stethoscope that had to be absurdly expensive. “Are you gonna give me shots?” His child’s frightened tone made him tie his hair back. If she lost control and rewound the too-sweet pediatrician, the court would never give him adoption rights.
The doctor with nearly black, navy-blue hair smiled again, and he noticed the dimples on her face.

He counted them in class, on the training grounds, at lunch, even on the weekends in the dorm common room. He counted them because he was terrified he’d lose another one. Aoyama was in jail with his parents after his betrayal. While every single one of them was injured in the war, they were all still alive. They were all so wonderfully alive, and Shouta knew - without a single shred of doubt - that he no longer had control over the safety of his students’ lives.
And it terrified him.

OR: Shouta spends a night battling his own demons, and through he's might be strong enough to resist, the reality that he might not be in control of everything is a hard truth he needs to face.

OR: A Baldur's Gate 3/My Hero Academia crossover wherein Midoriya and Aizawa are taken by the Mind Flayer ship as it attempts to flee the githyanki and both wind up in the middle of a plot concocted by an evil, terrifying cult. Midoriya wants to help, Aizawa wants Midoriya to stop running headfirst into danger, and everyone who meets them wants to know what the hell an All Might is.
