The end of the world looms. Ever present, ever more fearful. There were three of them against insurmountable odds and then, almost by a miracle, there were four. Even with Gabriel rejoining the fight, being their ace in the hole, it was still going to be a long shot that they could win. Even if they could save the world, save humanity, Sam Winchester might not make it out. He was...okay with that. This was his mess to clean up and he would do it. He would make this right, however he could.
Yet, in the meantime, Gabriel was working on a way to save him.
Even more incredible? Despite everything happening...there is a glimmer of hope. Of love. If only it could be accepted.

"And hey..just, erm..how much, 'sweetener', did you put in my drink?" He asks. To which sam thinks, and replied, "like, uh..i know how much you like sweet things n stuff, so I put half. I didn't expect it to make you..start humping the bed at night like a dog??" The taller man said, feigning obliviousness..but he couldn't hold in his laughter.
"HA——ahem..Half!?.." The Archangels eyes practically widened. That was NOT good. But as he saw the man laughing..his eyebrow raised. "why are you laughing!? This is a very serious situation! It won't, go, away! Fucking help me!" he whined. To which Sam replied, still laughing his ass off."well, maybe you should've been more forward, instead of labelling aphrodisiac as said 'sweetener'."

“Asmodeus is dead.”
Both Sam and Dean jumped at Castiel’s sudden appearance in the car. He thanked his lucky stars that Dean was used to Castiel popping in enough that he’d stopped losing control of the car half the time.
“Jesus,” Dean said. “I’m never gonna get used to that.”
“What do you mean, Asmodeus is dead?” Sam asked, turning in his seat to look back at the angel, immediately freezing at the sight before him. “Holy shit.”
“Holy shit what? What happened?”
“By “Asmodeus is dead”, I mean that Asmodeus has been killed,” Castiel said plainly, conveniently ignoring Dean’s question. Sam couldn’t blame him, who would want to tell their lover that the guy who killed him a hundred times is not only alive, but lying half-dead in their backseat?
