Summary
Death Watch's coup to take over Mandalore has been foiled and the Zabrak Sith dealt with. In the midst of rebuilding her world, Satine Kryze seeks allies amongst a Republic that refuses to offer support. The senator from Kuat offers her what she needs . . . and a marriage proposal along with it.
Satine struggles to answer, caught between the love she can't have and the marriage she could. Obi-Wan wants to be supportive, but is struggling with scars from the war. Korkie is not happy and takes matters into his own hands. Padme's getting ready for life as a mother. Anakin just wants his former master to have what he does.
And in the midst of it all, Palpatine invites Anakin to the opera.

Arwen and Luthien both had been asked to choose between peace and creation; eternal light, or lighting the flame themselves. They were Prometheus, the titan descended to earth. Every death they pulled out of Arwen was worth it for the things she got to build.

Summary
Another "Obi-Wan leaves the Order for Satine at the end of the Mandalore Plot Arc like he should have" fix-it fic except I am full of spite and I tied up all the loose ends afterwards too because I am always left wanting more.
Alternatively: Obi-Wan is having a good day so of course Palpatine has to throw a wrench or three in it.
