Summary
He isn’t fine. He’s terrified. Terrified of the images that haunt him every time he closes his eyes. Derek’s room, Derek’s clothes, Derek’s mom.
Bonnie. Another mother who only wanted him as a replacement for her long gone son. How many times is he going to play that role? How many times is someone going to look at him and only see an empty vessel?
OR: Buck spirals on the drive back to L.A. and Eddie is there to help with the aftermath.

“You should watch Heated Rivalry! It’s perfect for you guys,” Hen said brightly, rising from her chair and making her way toward the sink to dump out the rest of her coffee.
Ravi’s accompanying nod was almost grave. “HBO Max.”

Summary
He had a brother. Daniel Evan Buckley. Evan. They gave Buck his name. There were no pictures of Daniel past the year 1989. Two years before Buck was born. Daniel died when he was six years old. And Buck was born to replace him.
That’s what he believed for the next fifteen years.
It made too much sense. Why his mom couldn’t bear to look at him most of the time. Why both of his parents put so much pressure on him to do well. He was their second chance. Daniel number two. The son they had instead of the one they wanted.
But he was wrong. And the narrative he had written for himself was about to come crashing down.
