Summary
After the events of Prison of Plastic, Lorelai just wants to be normal. When she hears about an imbued amulet with the ability to remove epithets, it seems like the only way to save others from her power. Of course, she WOULD pick the same day as a pair of inscribed thieves to find and harness its power.
Mera can't believe her luck. An inscribed who actually WANTS to become a mundie? This will be a piece of cake. Just play along with this kid's games and sell her a sob story about how much she wants an epithet. Nothing to it. But Mera has never been good at hiding her sarcasm, and this would-be mundie is more cynical than that dopey therapist kid.
