Summary
Luca Haas, in his second year with the Ottawa Centaurs, hits his stride. His game is great, his team is even better. Sure, he has one friend outside of hockey, but that's fine. And it's two friends if you count his cat. He has settled into life in a way he would have never thought possible. And then, lightening strikes. Of course, when that happens, his team takes it upon themselves to interfere. And between a roster of hockey players, an evil lesbian, and a badly behaved cat, Luca might find out just how much better things can get, even when they feel like they're already great. That is, if he survives the embarrassment of it all.

Summary
When Coach Wiebe suggests that Luca Haas should move in with Ilya for a while, as both of them seem lonely, Ilya nearly loses his mind. Not only does this mean he will see Shane even less than before, but it also means that the Centaurs have realised that Ilya's mental health is suffering. The worst part is that when Ilya tells Shane about it, Shane actually supports the idea, saying that it might be good for Ilya and Luca.
Turns out it's the second-best thing that has ever happened to Ilya.
