Summary
Suddenly, the mist dissipated, dropping to curl its way along the floor to join the smoke from the now extinguished candles. In its place was a figure. A ghoul, curled in on itself, spaded tail limp on the floor next to it. It lay still, and it took longer than it should have for anyone to notice the shallow rise and fall of its chest. Next to Perpetua the ghouls peered forward, their concern visible. Something was wrong. There was rarely a time when a summon wouldn’t immediately attempt to either fight or intimidate its summoners, or flee back into the pits, made impossible by the fact there was no way to return without another spell. They never turned up like the one now laying before them.
“Is it dead?”

A new ghoul is summoned by Perpetua, but from the moment the unconscious ghoul arrives something is wrong. The new summon is withdrawn, hesitant to bond with anyone at all. Stoic and silent, the newcomer keeps their distance until a tragedy sends the ministry spiralling into a panic and the ghoul is confronted with a situation they don't know how to handle.

What should've been a relaxed night out at the club with the ghouls and some Siblings of Sin, ends for Copia with begrudgingly having to take care of a newborn vampire. What he doesn't know is, that this was only the beginning of the disaster he has gotten himself into.
