Summary
Draco Malfoy had always known he was different. Lights were too bright, noises were too loud, eye contact made him want to claw his eyes out. His father had always told him to stop being silly, followed by a sharp slap with his cane to shut Draco up.
The first person he ever met who didn't seem to mind him being himself was the small boy with vibrant green eyes he met in a shop.
Harry Potter had grown up surrounded by love. His father had adopted him when he was a baby and since then all he had known was care and love. When he got his Hogwarts letter, he was overjoyed to learn that his father would be coming to school with him as a potions master. Everything was perfect.
Harry Potter met a boy with silver eyes and white-blonde hair in a shop. This boy was kind and blunt, sharp and soft, brave but so scared to go home. Soon, he occupies all of Harry's thoughts.
Throughout tears and meltdowns, pain and grief, the two boys find moments of solace in each other and forge a bond that is as unique as it is dangerous. In a world where being queer is basically a crime, will this relationship survive though the second wizarding war?
