He was going to kill every single one of them and what if Ewya… was just a bit more present…

Summary
Danny's been High King for years now. More than half his life. His parents? Reformed. His arch nemesis? Retired. The GIW? Still there, but not much of a threat anymore. Until someone got a lucky shot with a brand new, and extra nasty weapon that left Danny fighting not to just retreat into his core.
Good thing Frostbite told him about a way to condense himself to save energy and heal. Sure, making himself shrink is a little weird, but as long as it gets the job done, right? A quick portal jump and he'll be home and can just rest and relax until he's strong enough to go back to normal.
...Maybe he jumped a little too far. Because he's never heard of this Gotham place, and who the heck is Batman? Wait, they've got superheros here?! (And they're cute. Oh no.)

Summary
Danyal al Ghul's core yearned to reach out of his grave and add Damian's small proto-core into its Fraid.
But it had been 7 long years since they'd last seen each other. A whole lifetime.
Damian had already mourned him. It would be kinder to keep him in the dark, rather than drag him into the mess that was Danny's half-life.
So Danny would hide in Gotham until things cooled down back home with the GIW. Easy-peasy.
It wasn't like there was anyone out there looking for him, or anything!

Summary
In freshman year of high school, Danny pulled away from his friends without explanation.
At sixteen, he disappeared. Sam and Tucker presumed him dead. His parents insisted he was taken by ghosts.
As young adults, they run into him in Gotham, of all places. It's a stroke of luck that brings their best friend back to them.
If only it was that easy for the Bats to find the god damn engineer that's been running circles around them while they try to track him down.
Tim's not sure what he'll do first when he finally finds the brilliant bastard - kiss him or punch his teeth in.
