“Rebecca,” he starts, holding eye contact. “Do you want to get out of here?”
Rebecca’s only real thought is that for the first time in her entire life, she’s found herself properly speechless. She opens her mouth to respond, and then closes it. And then she does it again, because even if she could find words right now, she’s not even sure what to say.
“If I’m completely off base, we can forget this ever happened,” Ted tries again. “But I don’t think I am.”
“Who are you and what have you done with Ted Lasso?” Rebecca asks. The look on Ted’s face changes, and he starts to pull his arm back. She brings a hand up to her shoulder to stop him, and takes a deep breath.
“Yours or mine?”
