“Rebecca,” he starts, holding eye contact. “Do you want to get out of here?”
Rebecca’s only real thought is that for the first time in her entire life, she’s found herself properly speechless. She opens her mouth to respond, and then closes it. And then she does it again, because even if she could find words right now, she’s not even sure what to say.
“If I’m completely off base, we can forget this ever happened,” Ted tries again. “But I don’t think I am.”
“Who are you and what have you done with Ted Lasso?” Rebecca asks. The look on Ted’s face changes, and he starts to pull his arm back. She brings a hand up to her shoulder to stop him, and takes a deep breath.
“Yours or mine?”

"Rebecca Welton," she answers, hopes it's not another bloody 'investor' wanting to get in on the women's team. As soon as Keeley had brought the idea to her, and she started making inquiries, everyone and their mother wanted in on it.
"Ms. Welton, this is Aditi Mehta with London Fostering."
Rebecca sits up straighter in her desk chair. "Ms. Mehta, hello. How are you?"
"I'm good. Busy, but good." Aditi takes a deep breath, "I won't keep you long, Ms. Welton. Do you think you'd be ready by Friday to welcome a little girl?"
