Summary
Izuku jumped that day on the roof, and while he survived the fall, not much else survived with him. His memories are gone, his identity is gone and the trust his mother had in him is also gone. Now he's watched like a hawk for any sign that he'll make another attempt, if he'll remember why he did it and decide it was worth dying again.
There are a few thing he does know though.
Izuku doesn't remember exactly why he wanted to die but he's pretty sure he knows anyways. He knows he's not quirkless no matter how often they tell him so. And he knows that before, Midoriya izuku wanted to be a hero, wanted to save people with a smile like his favourite idol. He's sure he still wants that and he's prepared to get it, even if he has to ruin people to get there.

Obi-Wan narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?" He asked, hoping a direct question would yield answers. The old man seemed adept at side-stepping information when asked a bit more deftly. “I’ve never heard of a Master with your level of talent.”
The old man seemed surprised. “If you’ve never heard of one like me, then what good would my name be? You wouldn’t know it.”
Obi-Wan felt a flare of irritation, and quickly squashed it. The old man blinked, as if he hadn’t expected to feel that, and he smiled, sadly. “My name is Luke,” he said, as if a peace offering.
The force trilled in his ear, and Obi-Wan frowned. "Luke what?" He asked, and the old man, this Luke, smiled wryly.
"Luke Skywalker.”

Summary
When he is eleven, Harry finds a strange mirror in an abandoned classroom. It shows him two boys he doesn't know, but desperately wants to.
When he is seventeen, Harry dies in the forest. He wakes in purgatory and is greeted by Death. Fate and Time give him the chance to change it all and save more than a few people in the process.
Now Harry is back at Hogwarts, befriending black eyed potions prodigies and sharp tongued budding dark lords.
After all these years, he still has an unhealthy obsession with his boys from the mirror and now that he can touch them, he never wants to stop

“No post on Sundays” Uncle Vernon announced happily, “No damn letters today-”
Something came whizzing down the kitchen chimney as he spoke and caught him sharply on the back of the head. The next moment, thirty or forty letters came pelting out of the fireplace like bullets.
“That does it!” he snapped, his beady little eyes focused solely on Harry, “It’s you that they want. And they won’t stop coming after us until you’re… gone”.
Harry didn't like the sound of that.
“But Vernon, we can’t! You heard what that- that despicable old man told us!”
“Don’t worry, pet” Vernon said, his nasty grin triumphant, “I’ll leave him someplace so far away that those freaks will never trace him back to us. There’s an institute up north, for these- these hopeless cases and whatnot - St Brutus's Secure Centre for Boys. I’ll leave him there, and then we can get back to our nice, normal life”.Or, the one where Harry doesn't attend Hogwarts in first year but finds his way to the wizarding world anyway, and this changes everything.
