Welcome to my personal hell :D
In this collection of shorts/drabbles for Solavellan Week 2025, I'm exploring Solas' relationship with my two canon Inquisitors (Moira and Evunial) and Mythal. There will be no pure Solythal, and no explicitly sexual Solythal, but imo, their relationship heavily influences Solavellan - and I want to explore that. The main pairing for each short IS Solavellan. There may be Dead Dove-y parts - I'm updating the tags as I go, and I'll give specific warnings in the notes for each chapter.

Summary
We're approximately 2000-ish years after Solas succeeded and the Veil came down, killing him in the process and flooding Thedas with the raw magic of the Fade. When the chaos lifted, Elvhenan rose to a global political and military super power. In that modern society, the so-called gods of ancient times are reborn as teenagers. And all they want is play in a band and make it big on social media. At least most of them do.
Heavily inspired by my Nana rewatch of April 2025.
With songfic parts mostly involving Within Temptation. -

Summary
This idea is based on a drawing I saw by @ryrycouch.bsky.social of Solas with messed up hair. I've always had a thing for the intimacy of combing someone's hair and so I immediately imagined a scene where a rattled, exhausted Solas has his hair brushed by Felassan. Who is so much more than "just a friend" - and at the same time, not.

The fall of Elvhenan and the rise of the Veil prompted a very particular evolutionary trait within Elvhen descendents to ensure the People's survival.
Solas does not know this.
Solas should probably know this.

Summary

“Is that the full strength of your conviction?” Elgar'nan teased, grabbing both of Solas’s wrists with just one hand. His bronze-skinned muscles looked deliciously magnificent next to Solas’s black colour and skinny pale limbs, so Elgar’nan spelled his robes away with a thought. Naked flesh against cold armor—and him still the greatest force between the two. “Go on, keep trying. You might persuade me yet.”
“You are such a child,” Solas snapped, flushed from exertion and entirely out of breath. He tried to squirm out of Elgar’nan’s grasp, bucking his hips ineffectually. “You cannot solve all your problems through sheer brute force.”

Back in ancient Arlathan, when Elgar’nan is on the precipice of declaring himself god, he and Solas clash over what constitutes good leadership.
They argue about it. And also fuck about it.
Update: Now with a second chapter! Mythal lays down the law. In her own way.
