Summary
"Do you... always spend your heats alone?" Clark asked quietly, not quite expecting a reply, but needing to know all the same.
"There's no one else." The words were soft and hollow, and the air around Bruce smelled bitter.
That should have been the moment Clark accepted Bruce's answer and let the subject drop. Bruce wasn't angry or disappointed that Clark had found out something that was meant to stay hidden, and that alone was enough to ease the weight pressing on Clark's chest.
Still…
"I… I'm an alpha," he heard himself say. "If you ever need someone to help you through your heats, you can rely on me."
(Or, it starts with Clark helping Bruce through his heats. It ends with something else entirely.)

Jason had started growling at Clark.
He didn't do it on purpose! It was just that whenever he saw him in the manor or the cave, or even near Bruce, a low sound came from his throat, and Jason couldn't stop it.
It was embarrassing! It wasn't even that Clark had done anything to him!
He was kind to Jason, he always smiled like an idiot and never made sudden movements, just to keep him from going crazy.
None of this mattered: Jason growled at him anyway, and he didn't know how to fucking stop .
