    Lucanis is kept up by Spite, Harding is struggling with nightmares, Neve is pushing the clock with her working hours and Bellara can barely keep track of what day it is. Taken together, it seems like half the team is getting almost no sleep, how are they to fight the gods while suffering from sleep deprivation?

    Rook, has a plan. And this time... it's actually a good one. What this team need is an intervention. Through some mildly cunning schemes everyone is gathered in dining hall, only to get locked in there. Seems like an extreme move, but drastic times call for drastic measures. All they have to before they can leave, is figure out everyone's sleeping schedule, shouldn't be too hard to do, right?

    can Rook succeed in saving the team from themselves, or will forcing heathy sleeping habits on each other be the thing that finally tears the team apart? If the Veilguard is to stay vigilant, they must do so with rested eyes. Can they find their peace and slumber, or will it eventually prove that there is no rest for the Veilguard

    Wow. To hear Lena say this, to know that this still holds true even after everything that has happened… Kara flushes. She fiddles with her belt, exhales softly.

    or Lena is a terrible enabler. Kara wants anything and everything Lena will give her, and underneath the weight of such gentle, earnest warmth, it keeps escaping Kara why that is dangerous.

    “Wait, when you say ‘you’ll be teaching’, you mean…both of us?” Kara asks, sounding more than a little apprehensive. “Lena and I will be teaching it together?”

    Lena’s own apprehension is so high that she’s fairly sure she’s seconds away from hyperventilation, but she’s surprising even herself with how well she’s hiding it.

    “Astute observation, Miss Danvers. It’s clear to anyone in the room that you two have…magnetism.” Cat sounds matter-of-fact, but the casual way she states that other people - both students and coworkers - have noticed how she and Kara interact makes Lena want to sink into the floor and disappear.

    Kara and Lena are teachers, thirst is abundant, and communication is hard.
