"I'm sure you do." Louis hummed, throwing his jansport over his sun-burnt shoulders. He quickly yanked Harry's syllabus across the desk, nearly ripping it. "Listen, I've already got an idea for this. We're doing that instead."
"What? Don't I get any say—"
"No." Louis scrawled his number in the corner, not even looking up.
Harry frowned at the paper. "But what if I—"
"Honestly? Not interested in your tourist perspective on this, California." Louis stood abruptly and Harry winced at the nickname like it burned. "Just text me and we'll figure out a time to start working on this and get it over with."-or-
When California sunshine Harry literally collides with bitter native New Yorker Louis during his first week at SVA, it's hate at first sight (at least for Louis). Forced to collab on a semester long photography project together, Louis reluctantly shows Harry the real city beyond the tourist traps Harry seems to love, and Harry learns home is not really where you are, it's who you're with.
