"Ma'am you can't just walk in through the ambulance bay!" Langdon scolds, sounding irritated.
"Please!" A woman begs, breaths coming short and ragged as she speaks. "I just left Presby because they said nothing is wrong. But I know I'm having a heart attack!"
Robby pokes his head out and sees Kim helping a short woman with medium brown hair into a wheelchair. Or, try to anyway.
"Let me walk while I still can." She insisted. Langdon takes her hand as they walk past central when she stops so suddenly it nearly makes the much taller man trip.
"Ma'am? Ma'am are you okay?" Langdon asked.
"Dennis?" Huh?
Dennis has been no contact with his entire family for nearly a decade. How will he react to the aunt who helped raise him suddenly showing up in his ER, nearly 500 miles from her own home.

Summary
When a new doctor arrives at their hospital, nobody really notices him. Robby, as usual, tries to ignore the newcomer, finding him a bit too energetic for his liking. Running the emergency department smoothly was a difficult task, one that ended up affecting everyone anyway.
Except that this new doctor apparently had a crush on Whitaker, constantly touching him. An arm around his shoulder, a hand on the back of his neck, his fingers playing with his protégé's pretty curls.
Who did this guy think he was, honestly ?
The worst part was that Whitaker didn't seem bothered, looking at him with his big blue eyes, the same look he usually gave Robby.
This had to stop.

Frank knows he has an issue. He’s been trying to get through it for a while but it’s hard, really really hard. He’s reliant on things he knows he shouldn’t be. But after everything he’s been through he’s proud he’s not reliant on worse things. When he hurt his back months ago he wasn’t prepared for the pain to still be happening now. His brothers weren’t surprised.
Frank’s brothers were all younger than him, yet most had joined the family before he did. There was tension there, he felt left out and like he had missed out on having an actual family growing up. He still loved them all though. And now that Robby’s found out about his issue, maybe it's time to get back in contact with them. He’d been avoiding it since the accident but now seems like the time for him to ask for help. Easier said than done but he can at least try.

“What’ve we got?” Robby asked Dana as he hustled to get to his newest patient. He couldn’t see much yet from outside the patient’s room, just a broad-shouldered body with a halo of sweat-damp blond curls, and pale skin that might have been from shock.
“Male, 26, fell on the ice,” she said, shaking her head. “Kneecap dislocation. Poor kid.”
“Ouch. What was he doing? Shoveling, at this time of night?” he asked. It was coming up on seven, nearly time for the shift handover. It had been dark for hours already.
“Playing hockey.”
Or: in an alternate universe, the 2018 All Star game takes place in Pittsburgh. Ilya gets hurt, and is treated by Dr. Robby.
