Wednesday quella notte vide un’espressione sul volto di Enid che supponeva non avrebbe mai dimenticato. Sotto lo sguardo smarrito e spaventato della sua coinquilina c’era un lato di aggressività e ira. Gli strascichi della battaglia, la stessa battaglia che aveva costretto Enid a trasformarsi per proteggerla erano rimasti sul suo volto per le ore che c’erano volute per rimettersi in sesto. Lo stesso sguardo era sparito il giorno dopo ed Enid era tornata la stessa ragazza di sempre. Dolce e delicata. Per Wednesday era diventata un’ossessione.
