Summary
“I think I could absolutely climb that.” Saparata said.
“You’ll fall.” Fluixon shot back instantly.“Flux, you don’t even know what I was talking about. You didn’t even look.”
Fluixon sighed. He did look, and he saw the half-built Acropolis. The single most important building of their settlement, scaffolding stretching upward like an invitation to disaster.
“No.” He repeated, with feeling.
Or: Fluixon’s memories of Theria. Its birth, its rise, and Saparata’s fall.

Summary
Saparata did what had to be done. He struck Fluixon down in the colosseum and ended the encapsulating war that begun with the two of them. Finally reached peace among the islands.
Only for Saparata to wake up somewhere completely new, with the events of the past nothing but a distant memory, and a shiver down his spine that suggested things would be very different this time around.

Summary
On the verge of vengeance, Saparata is ready to kill Fluixon—until the fire takes that choice from him. Fluixon survives, but returns without memory, softened into someone Saparata once longed for.
Caught between duty and the pull of old bonds, Saparata struggles to protect, to understand, and to reconcile the man before him with the one who caused him so much pain. He is torn between the man who once brought him anguish but felt painfully real, and the one before him who offers the peace he’d once wished for, yet feels like a stranger’s mercy.
In the ruins of what was, he must decide whether love can exist without the weight of the past—or if the past is what made it real.

Summary
They had also ultimately decided that a new villain popping up wouldn’t be the best idea, especially with the Law’s recent crackdown on villainy. Instead, Wemmbu would follow in his best friend's shoes ad become a vigilante.
He didn’t know the first thing that they did besides the couple of tidbits Egg had drilled into his mind an hour before. He couldn’t kill, couldn’t injure too severely, had to focus on helping others, and so on; Wemmbu stopped paying attention after the third miniature lecture about his tendency to fight before thinking, basically summing the entire list up as ‘No fun allowed’. Honestly, he would just improv the whole schtick and hope it was convincing.
He took one last look in the mirror before heading out. He looked nothing like himself, nothing like Gambit.
It was perfect.

Summary
A shadow‑winged vigilante returns home expecting silence, only to find a town on the edge of collapse — fires in the night, whispers of danger, and a threat lurking just out of sight. He isn’t alone for long. A phoenix‑hearted protector, already cracking under the weight of everyone’s expectations, steps forward to help. A fire‑sparked troublemaker with too much energy and too many secrets gets pulled into the chaos. And a quiet observer, sharp‑eyed and steady, becomes the unexpected glue holding them all together.
Each of them carries their own ghosts.
Each of them is breaking in their own way.
And each of them is about to collide with the others in ways none of them are ready for.As the danger grows, the four are forced into uneasy partnership — through fire, fear, reckless plans, and the kind of honesty that only comes when everything else has fallen apart. This is a story about vigilantes and vulnerability, about masks and the people who see through them, about fear, trust, and the fragile connections that form when the world is burning.
They’re trying to save their town.
They’re trying to save each other.
And somewhere along the way, they might learn how to save themselves.Bookmarked by Gaygh0sts
