Summary
Clark doesn’t catch whatever Bruce Wayne says next because his heartbeat wasn’t just familiar, he *knew* this heartbeat.
He double checks it’s coming from the right person, because he hopes he’s wrong, knows he isn't, and there’s no actual way to prove it because it’s just his memory but- he knows he’s right. That heartbeat, he’d recognize it anywhere, he could never forget it. Having it so close to him, under his ear under the stars. The vivid memory of sweet summer kisses in sticky clothes, bright fresh air lapping at them like waves as they ran, days of studying that left them smelling like books and coffee.
Bruce Wayne was his first love.
-
It took Bruce three months to figure out Superman was Clark Kent. It took him a bit longer to accept that Superman was his high school sweetheart.
-
Or: the one where Bruce knows Clark Kent is Superman, and Superman doesn't know who Batman is, but he knows Bruce Wayne had a secret identity, and overall Bruce is not having a good time, while Clark is trying to figure out his mixed feelings for his past love or his current crush. (Spoilers: they're the same person. Clark will also not be having a good time) -

Hannibal felt the tight reins of hope guiding her hands, reaching for the smoke, an intangible weight she had once imagined becoming reality.
Will spoke, “I’ll feed the dogs. Tonight. Leave a note for Alan, and we can leave. Tonight.”

Summary
“Hello,” Hannibal said with a smile.
The man did something with his mouth. It was so painfully forced Hannibal refused to call it a smile. He followed it up with another painful attempt at politeness, a modicum of a wave, his hand barely leaving his fishing rod. He had a bucket for fish beside him, and a satchel attached to his side.

Summary
Gotham is having a very strange Christmas.
Bruce Wayne’s latest vigilante experiment, a horned shadowy figure the press has named “Krampus,” was supposed to terrify criminals. Instead, it has gone viral as Gotham’s new holiday mascot. Clark Kent, investigative reporter and part-time baker, is on the case. He is following Krampus’s trail of cookie crumbs (literally) while secretly moonlighting as “Super Santa” to fix Gotham’s holiday chaos.
Between gingerbread turtle clues, a viral photo of Krampus tangled in Christmas lights, and Alfred’s endless commentary, Bruce is one bad cape snag away from losing his mind. Meanwhile, Clark is just trying to figure out if Gotham’s scariest new legend is a monster, a myth, or a very grumpy man who needs a hug.
Deffo Crack!fic :P It is a holiday season full of crime, cookies, and questionable branding decisions.

Summary
Bruce skidded to a halt, breath hissing through his teeth.
Superman’s head came up sharply, like the sound of Bruce’s shock still meant something to him—and it was Clark, but he was different. Different lines on his face, a subtly different curl to his hair, and as he looked Bruce up and down his eyes blew wide.
Bruce’s hand dropped immediately to his belt, a chill sweeping through him. “Not our Kal.”
--
Bruce and Clark have been in a relationship since the founding of the Justice League almost twenty years ago. When the League tries to bring in a thief with stolen reality-shifting technology, Clark is accidentally exchanged with his counterpart from a universe that's almost identical—except he's married to Lois. And they have a son.As each side scrambles to swap their Clarks back, Bruce and Clark find themselves grappling with new questions about their life together, faced with the possibility of things having gone differently for not just the two of them, but their children—the ones they have, and the one they've never met. Along the way, they do their best not to to blow up their counterparts' lives by dredging up any long-buried feelings. (They may or may not succeed at that last.)

“Hey, Bruce,” he said tentatively. “You have a lot of casual sex, right?”
Bruce raised one delicate eyebrow. “Mr. Kent,” he said slowly, amusement curling around the words, “are you calling me easy?”
(or: Not quite fresh out of a divorce, Clark attempts to have a hot girl summer. It goes well until it doesn't.)

Summary
It was a Thursday afternoon at the end of March, and Bruce Wayne met Clark Kent in the way enterprising billionaires tended to meet investigative reporters: Through an interview.
Kent had posture like cooked spaghetti and wore his plaid like the strangest camouflage in history.Bruce was less than impressed.
