How is one supposed to feel and act in the face of an old friend they cut ties with years ago, especially when plunged into such situation with no warning or even a nanosecond to prepare?

Summary
Rafaela is a good assistant! A great one, even.
The Doctor is an interesting person. A mysterious one, even. One who was almost renowned for the mask that they wore even with their most trusted (and greatest) assistants.
What happens when the good assistant has to wonder about the Doctor, and lets her curiosity get the better of her? Shenanigans, to be certain, but the extent remained to be seen.
