Miranda fought the overwhelming urge to topple over and throw up. She blinked once and, without taking her eyes off Andrea, asked, “What?”
Andrea bit down on her lip and sighed softly. “Do you like me?”
Miranda almost screamed yes. Instead, she closed her eyes and forced herself to breathe in and out slowly.
“What answer do you want?” she finally replied.
Andrea frowned slightly.
When Miranda spoke again, there was something dangerously close to pleading in her voice.
“Because I don’t want to make you uncomfortable,” she said. “I don’t want to scare you away. I can manage my feelings, but I can’t lose you.”

All my favorite tags the flirting, angst, possessiveness, jealousy, banter I lived. Miranda and Andy's flirting in this?? Had me cheesing too damn hard. Andy and Em's banter? Top tier. Slow burn? The stove was on high the whole time. Fake dating? Yeah right, where?? The angst?? Gut wrenching but oh so good and so tastefully done. One of the best Mirandy fics. Shot up my favorites list for sureeee.

Summary
Due to an accident, Lena can't remember the past eight years of her life. The last thing she remembers was being in college, dating Kara. When she asks the doctor to call Kara and sees her with two children, she of course assumes they'd gotten married and had children.
Kara hadn't seen Lena in eight years after they split up. To avoid shocking Lena with the truth, she is advised to go along with her version of reality for a little while, until she'd be stable enough to hear the truth. As a widow, it isn't easy to pretend she's happily married.
How is she ever going to tell Lena they're not married and that her children aren't hers? And not to forget, how is she going to hide being Supergirl while her children have powers, too?

This was absolutely fantastic. Well written angst is my Kryptonite fr and this was done so beautiful. The plots and twists gave me whiplash but in the best way possible as I was always on the edge of my seat. I was on the verge of tears so many times but this was an awesome read. Oh and who doesn't love a supercorp × Clexa cameo. Also Kara and Lena were so soft in this and the kiddos were adorable. Love when they have kids, the family fluff was everything.
